愛知県名古屋市東区にある1935年に開設された歴史と由緒ある美術館です。徳川家康から御三家筆頭としての尾張徳川家初代徳川義直が譲り受けた遺産を中核として、国宝「源氏物語絵巻」をはじめ、国宝9件、重要文化財59件、重要美術品46件、500振以上の刀剣など、代々受け継がれた大名道具1万件余りを所蔵しています。
